If we were to reduce the world population down to 100 keeping the same proportions this is what it would look like:

The Miniature Earth project  demystifies the numbers,  the enormity of  which we struggle to comprehend in our safe little lives here in the developed world.  Paradoxically by reducing the figures they actually become real, more powerful and no longer just a statistic.
