I go into the woods with my wise friend Sarah who lives over in the next village. On the way she says:
“There’s a man who walks in the woods pushing a wheelbarrow…have you seen him? He’s always smiling but is obviously not all there.”
“No,” I say as we make our way through the snow.
“There’s also another man who dresses completely in green, even wears a green hat with a feather.”
I look her in the eye thinking she’s having me on but she appears quite serious. I take her to the magic way and she is charmed. We debate about going over to the cabin but decide that it would be an intrusion for which I am thankful, being such a scaredy cat.

Sarah divulges that she feels we are being watched and for the first time the magic way turns into the creepy way until we spot two chamois looking down on us.
Whoever it is, has been working hard since my last visit and has added a cross made of bundles of small sticks and pine cones.
So the number of possibilities widens. The man in the woods is either:
a) A smiley man with a wheelbarrow
b) A leprechaun
or
c)Phil Collins when he wishes to escape the paparazzi and the drumming work dries up.
Hello and thanks for commenting. Our tree trunks are samurai warriors, xmas trees, parrots etc. but I know it’s the woodcutters doing that. What did the riddle say?

There must be something about the Swiss or the mountains because we found a drawer in some woods near our village with a riddle inside. I often see tree stumps transformed into mushrooms as well.
