Winner’s Lunch
Here is a photo of competition winners Nadia and Graham taken yesterday at the Buffet de la Gare in Céligny just outside Geneva. On arrival, Nadia confessed to having stage fright but it soon subsided when she realised that having Graham as a fellow lunch guest meant she really didn’t need to say very much. After five minutes I felt I had known her forever. Both were great company and we had a lovely time talking about our lives and our goals.

November 14, 2008 @ 11:00 pmOK, I tried to post a comment, and it was a rather nice one I thought, lovely turn of phrase and all, but it must have been sycophantic because my /&%ç#°#!! computer went into “Update Windows Mode” and deleted it.
Grrr.
So, to start again: I had a lovely time, the company was gorgeous (and the food!), and thanks, Jules, I might just return to the world and it’ll be all your fault.
Many many thanks for the delightful lunch, and yes, blogs should have competitions because then you can meet wonderful people… I’d throw in a smiley now but that would be a bit twee, no?
